We are pleased to announce that the Society has now purchased a new Telescope for members use:

A Skywatcher Skyliner 300P FlexTube AUTO Dobsonian, complete with Laser Collimator and Astrozap Dewshield.

Also available for members use is a Meade ETX125, an ideal portable observing telescope, which also has a Lunar Planetary Imager as an optional extra, for those wishing to try their hand at Astro Imaging.

*****Extra Meetings*****

Starting in November, The Society will be holding an extra 'informal' meeting on the first Monday of every month, through to and including April 2012. (Except December)

If the skies are clear, we will have observing, or if the weather is poor, we can discuss, equipment, projects, astronomy in general - whatever you decide.

Bring your own telescopes along, or use the Societies.

First extra meeting starts on Monday 7th November.

Please can all members assist with Teas & Coffees at Meetings.

Either in turn, or just 'jump in' when needs be.

Charles has been doing this to date, with help from certain individuals, but please can we all 'do our bit'!
